The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) announced the recipients of its American Residential Design Awards (ARDA), with Zephyr taking home the Grand ARDA award for townhome design at its San Diego luxury midrise, The Park, Bankers Hill.
“Winning an American Residential Design Award for The Park, Bankers Hill is an incredible honor,” said Brad Termini, CEO of Zephyr. “Being recognized by such a prestigious group for the dedication and effort we put into bringing our vision for this project to life is very special.”
The Park, Bankers Hill boasts 60 total units, six of which are luxurious town homes, each designed to celebrate contemporary architecture and elegance. The award-winning home is enveloped in book-matched, Volakas marble imported from Greece and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows designed to capture natural light; spacious, welcoming bedrooms with ample walk-in closet space; an open kitchen with Boffi cabinetry and Miële appliances and a neutral color palette complementary of its natural surroundings and neighboring Balboa Park. The home is one of the most architecturally significant new constructions in the cultural hub of the city, lending luxury and modern design to the neighborhood.
The American Residential Design Awards celebrate creativity and innovation demonstrated by residential designers, builders, remodelers, architects, developers, interior designer and land planners in the United States. The awards program recognizes exceptional design in a variety of categories and has grown tremendously over the years.
