Zephyr Announces “Topping Out” at The Park, Bankers Hill

San Diego-based real estate development and investment company Zephyr announced today the topping out of The Park, Bankers Hill – a 14-story, luxury residential building with 60 homes and two street level retail spaces – located at 2855 5th Ave. across from Balboa Park in San Diego’s Bankers Hill neighborhood.

According to Brad Termini, Zephyr’s co-CEO, the final slab of concrete has been poured to complete the structure and will be put into place to create the roof. “This is a milestone event for us, our construction teams and designers. Now that the framework of the project is complete, we’ll start adding design elements and finishes that will bring this highly anticipated project to life,” said Termini, whose company acquired the site in early 2015. “We’ve already begun selling homes, and continue to receive interest from buyers seeking a boutique luxury experience in a one-of-a-kind location, adjacent to the cultural amenities in the world-famous Balboa Park.”

Offering an average of 2,374 square feet per residence, plus an average 468 square feet of outdoor living space, each home features expansive, open floorplans that include floor to ceiling glass walls and offer a sleek and airy modern motif. Sweeping panoramas of the surrounding green and open space of Balboa Park, the downtown skyline, the San Diego Bay, Coronado and Harbor Island add to the property’s urban appeal.

Understated interiors convey the sophisticated essence of the neighborhood, with handsome wood flooring, recessed lighting, gourmet kitchens featuring Miele appliances and Boffi cabinetry, marble-clad master baths with large soaking tubs and soaring ceilings throughout.
