Photographs of local landmarks help incentivize luxury buyers at new California beach community.
In the luxury home sales process, salespeople have to get creative to help their offerings stand out from the crowd. Rolex watches, frequent flyer points, and luxury cars are just some of the perks that real estate developers offer potential buyers.
Now, San Diego-based real estate development company Zephyr has commissioned photographer Aaron Chang to create a collection of a photographs exclusively for homeowners at South Cove, Zephyr’s new community in Dana Point, Calif. Buyers can choose their favorite photograph from Chang’s five piece collection.
A renowned environmental photographer, Chang was the senior photographer for Surfing Magazine for 25 years. During that period, he spent time in Dana Point surfing Salt Creek Beach and Doheny State Beach.
Amber Frankhuizen, Zephyr’s vice president of sales and marketing, says Chang was the perfect choice to produce the collection because of his connection with Dana Point and design aesthetic that aligns with the city and South Cove community.
“He’s elevated our projects by infusing fine art you typically don’t find in new home building,” says Frankhuizen.
Images include a wave shot at Salt Creek Beach, a sailboat off the harbor, and a Doheny Beach sunset with deep orange and red hues. Scheduled to open this summer with presales starting soon, South Cove features 168 residences located directly across the street from Doheny State Beach.
