NEW HOMES: AUGUST BUILDER ROUND-UP

THE SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE

Aug 29, 2015

Summer may be waning, but local builders have sizzling offerings for new home buyers.

After recently releasing the last 10 homes in Dixie Village in Oceanside, Hallmark Communities quickly sold five of those offerings. Now only five Hallmark homes remain in this community close to the beach, which provides all that coastal living has to offer. Buyers must act fast to take advantage of this outstanding North County value.

Hallmark is selling other homes within walking distance to the beach at a new eight-home townhome community in Oceanside. At 438 S. Cleveland St., the project is also within walking distance to Oceanside’s train station, making commuting to downtown a breeze. Prices at Cleveland Street 8 start in the high $400,000s.

It’s last call at Beach House at Coral Cove in coastal Encinitas, where Shea Homes San Diego is offering its final home, the Plan 4 model. Shea is also down to its final home at Tamarindo in West Chula Vista, and six new homes in El Cajon at Everly near West Chase Avenue and Avocado Boulevard. Shea’s newest community, Serra on East Vista Way in the city of Vista, just released its second phase with homes now selling from $439,580. Sales and move-ins continue at Frame & Focus at Civita and the lofts at Lucent, also at Civita in Mission Valley.

Davidson Communities just released Phase Eight at Arterro at La Costa, a community of large family homes in Carlsbad. Davidson’s other North County neighborhoods include Enclave Rancho Santa Fe, an intimate neighborhood of 13 new homes behind private gates with views of the golf course at The Crosby; and New Crest Court, a community of 16 new homes in the Carlsbad School District.

Zephyr’s SummerHouse in Carlsbad is a unique offering of luxury beach condos boasting exclusive concierge services, direct beach access and sweeping views of the ocean and Buena Vista Lagoon.
